Dermatology Specialist Nurse Service (NHS Western Isles)
The Dermatology Specialist Nurse Service was developed to support those in the Western Isles with skin conditions.
Regular clinics are held in the Outpatient Department at Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway where the Service offers, in addition to a Dermatology Specialist Nurse, a Consultant from Raigmore Hospital attends clinics once every two months.
Assistance to the clinics is also provided by GPs who have undertaken specialist dermatology training.
The Dermatology Specialist Nurse Service offers a range of treatments and you may also be referred for further investigations.
